  1. Interested to know what your source is for the Cross Creek Presbyterian baptisms?! A line of my Smith's presumably came from Cross Creek Twp., and I have yet to be able to locate any of them prior to the 1830 census; no baptisms, marriages, zilch. By the mid 1850's they were in Mason county, (West) Virginia and are well researched from then on.
I'm looking for a Thomas Smith b. ca 1797-1802. He married an Isabelle, maiden name unknown. However, I believe (based on only circumstantial evidence so far) that she may of been a Boles/Bowels from the area of Eldersville (where one of my Thomas & Isabelle's daughters, Eliza Jane Smith, was born, ca. 1832).
If you could lead me to your source for the baptisms, I would be eternally grateful!!
